Sleepy’s here for the final time… saving the best post for last! Today we had an early wake up call, but Grant was so ecstatic that he woke us up even earlier! We didn’t mind though because we were so excited for the view! This morning we headed to Walmart first, our favorite! The lines were not as long as the ones from yesterday which was a good thing! Following this we headed on over to Highway 1, for a beautiful and elongated view with mountains along one side of the bus and van, and the other an ocean view! While some looked out the window, others took power naps. In the van half of the people were either singing their hearts out or were sleeping. Those on the bus faced the threat of getting licked by Ms. Beautiful if they were sleeping or goofing off.
As we rode along Highway 1, we stopped at the site of the TWB mountain, and took in all the amazing views! We got to spend time together, appreciate God’s creation, and chat with our TWB family! After singing our signature song, “Today” by John Denver, we got back on the road. Daniel was an amazing DJ on our way to Monterey and we all sang and got to see how beautiful the California coast is. After exploring Cannery Row, we drove to San Francisco and arrived at the Waller Center, where the girls are sleeping in the gym, and the boys are sleeping in bunks. Tomorrow we will be exploring the great city of San Francisco!
We are very sad because we had to depart from our fabulous motor coach operator, Kevin today. While we are very sad to see him go, we know he is excited to see his family! Good news, we have a new driver for the remainder of our trip named Marc! We are excited to make new memories with him and travel across America!
In San Francisco we will get to visit the famous Fisherman’s Wharf, The Painted Ladies, and Chinatown! We are so happy to be here for the next couple of days and cannot wait to see what adventures we can get into!
