Sleepys here again… Logan, Evan, Dakota, Daniel, Jacob, Macy, Samantha, Kate, Sophie, and Emma!! Today we took on Disneyland and had a magical time!
As we each took on our own adventures it’s easy to say that everyone had a great time on the rides, listening to Disney music, eating overpriced food, waiting in lines, and exploring the park.
Macy here—today while waiting in line for Space Mountain, the one and only Anna Jenkins decided to put on a show. Imagine a basketball court sized space with lines waiting for the ride, full of people anticipating the fun. Anna decided to show off her skills and do a split in front of the whole crowd. If you happen to see the picture, consider yourself blessed. She is one of a kind and a true entertainer.
An addition from Evan Black: While waiting in line for the “Rise of the Resistance, Connor was fangirling about an actress from “Fuller House.” Those in our group didn’t believe him, and we decided to ask. Turns out it was Romana Gibler (TV name) and we can now say that we talked to a celebrity.
Some of our participants had yet to ride a rollercoaster until our time in Vegas. While they were still considered newbies to the experience, Disneyland was a HUGE step. Our very own Sam Inman is said to have shed some tears while riding some of the rollercoasters. Another participant, Connor Scheer, is said to have screamed like a child.
The food was one of our favorite parts of the park. While maybe overpriced, the selection and detail of the food/ drink was unbelievable. Bao dumplings were a fan favorite, as well as the “Star Wars ball coke” (quote Logan Jones) soda bottles.
